Description:
Al-Damar Bridge is one of the major projects undertaken by Ministry of Dams and Bridges to develop the northern regions of Sudan. The Minister of Dams and Bridges has a potential plan to build more dams in the Nile State and Northern State, and this
would bring a great development in the region.
The bridge will act as an important link within the roads network starting at Port
Sudan on the Red Sea Coast passing through Aldamar and crossing the Nile and extending northwards to the Wadi Halfa area near the border with Egypt.
